Among them was four-star running back Daniyel Ngata, who had a powerful message about the school that those fans will certainly appreciate.Speaking to TigerNet, Ngata revealed that his recent trip to Clemson went well and he enjoyed meeting with the players and coaches. But he had an even stronger message for the fans he saw at the Spring game.Regarding the thousands and thousands of fans who saw the game, Ngata declared that Clemson might have the best fans in the country.“I don’t think there’s anybody else that’s having 60,000 fans at a spring game like that and people tailgating for a spring game. I don’t think there are any other fans like that. I think Clemson probably has the best fans in the nation to me.”A few other programs do have similar, if not better, spring game showings, but either way, Clemson fans definitely made a strong impression.247Sports rates Ngata as the No. 68 overall prospect in the country. He is also considered the No. 2 all-purpose back in the country, and the No. 13 prospect from the state of California.Ngata’s visit to Clemson was more than just for recruiting purposes though. His older brother, Joseph Ngata, is in his first year at Clemson and Daniyel wanted to see him.Joseph Ngata wound up leading all receivers at the Spring game with five receptions for 127 yards. The Tigers have certainly made a strong case for Ngata, and will certainly be looking forward to a potential commitment from him in the very near future.[TigerNet]last_img
